Russian Medical Massage is a clinical and physiological treatment that is used to treat a number of maladies. These include muscle or movement dysfunction, fatigue, muscle pain, emotional and physical stress, headaches, and more. This type of massage therapy is strictly based on anatomical structure and physiology of the human body.

The Russian Medical Massage is unique because it is an amalgam of many different therapy modalities[?] including Swedish, Neuro-Muscular Therapy, Pressure-Point Treatment, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, and others. It presents a combination of different hand manipulations in a particular sequence.

When compared to Swedish Massage, Monica's clients, on average, clearly favor the Russian Medical Massage. While not as penetrating as a Deep Tissue Massage, the Russian Medical Massage is a deeper, more stimulating massage than Swedish Massage.
